We hold everything from snooker table tops and wardrobe doors to the smallest dowel. All locations are labelled and the picklist gives the location of the part to the operative so that they can go directly to it.

Each shelf is barcoded and we use magnetic barcoded shelf labels for each product component. This means that when a component moved the barcode can be moved too. The stock controller simply scans the shelf and the component barcodes and the stock control system updates the location of the stock in the database.
